About this Qualification
A broader paediatric course covering emergencies, injuries and illnesses affecting infants and children. Designed for those with childcare responsibilities.
Course Content
Paediatric incident assessment; infant and child CPR; unresponsive casualties; choking; bleeding; shock; minor injuries. Recognition and management of childhood illness, burns and other injuries.
Assessment
Practical first aid and CPR assessment, with theory assessment as required by the qualification. All assessment criteria must be met.
