About this Qualification
A combined course for those who need a broader first aid skill set for adults, infants and children. Workplace and paediatric components are assessed as required.
Course Content
Incident assessment; first aider responsibilities; unresponsive casualties; CPR; choking; bleeding; shock; minor injuries. Recognition and management of illness, burns, musculoskeletal injuries and other workplace injuries. Infant and child CPR; paediatric injuries and illnesses.
Assessment
Practical first aid and CPR assessment, with theory assessment as required by the qualification. All assessment criteria must be met.
