About this Qualification
Combined training in workplace emergency first aid and emergency care for babies and children. The two qualification components retain their own assessment requirements.
Course Content
Incident assessment; first aider responsibilities; unresponsive casualties; CPR; choking; bleeding; shock; minor injuries. Infant and child CPR and paediatric emergencies.
Assessment
Practical first aid and CPR assessment, with theory assessment as required by the qualification. All assessment criteria must be met.
