Combined workplace and paediatric care covering emergencies, injuries and illnesses.
Course Content
Incident assessment; first aider responsibilities; unresponsive casualties; CPR; choking; bleeding; shock; minor injuries. Recognition and management of illness, burns, musculoskeletal injuries and other workplace injuries. Paediatric illnesses and injuries.
Assessment
Tutor assessment of practical demonstrations and a multiple-choice theory paper. All required criteria must be achieved.
